Workshop ‘LinkThink – Connect & Develop’

Had enough of hanging around, pondering why things don’t work the way they should and puzzling over what could be done differently? Then get up and join us!

Our last free workshop ‘LinkThink – Connect & Develop’ was held in March 2012 at the Grand Canal Hotel in Dublin 4. The topics of the day were a presentation on ‘Successful Advertising on Facebook’ by Cormac O’Kelly and then general questions on Facebook and WordPress. We will update this page and email all former participants when the next free workshop is planned!

Our very interactive WordPress workshop invites you!

All former WordPress Courses Ireland participants, as well as people who are interested in our courses and would like to see what we do, are very welcome to come along to catch up with others, discuss ideas and get to work on their site – it doesn’t matter how much or how little you’ve worked on your site already, feel free to come along to a very interactive and helpful ‘LinkThink – Connect & Develop’ Workshop!

WordPress Dublin workshop 2011It’s called ‘LinkThink’ because it’s all about new ideas, creativity, interests and information about what works and what doesn’t. The diversity of this group is fantastic, because some of them might be your target customers.

It’s also called ‘Connect & Develop’ because it’s about connecting with each other – connecting blogs and links, but also connecting in the real world, which increases productivity. Share valuable information and personal experience, discuss and tackle technical issues. Everybody and every blog can, and should, constantly change and develop – it doesn’t matter what stage you are at.

I came up with the idea to start this workshop in 2010 because I could see the areas where former students started to need help – the moment when you don’t really know what to write anymore, how to continue or how to improve (both the topic and technical issues). Also people who didn’t have time to work on their site after the course and could benefit greatly from a practical workshop as a refresher. Sometimes it’s hard to stay inspired and to keep going, and that’s the time to get out and get together – a few heads are better than one! I will be available to help out with technical issues, but even more valuable will be the group’s views, opinions and ideas for your blog.
